Whitechapel

Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee. They Tear it up on stage I have seen them 4 times live will keep on seeing them live. Seeing them this year on the mayhem fest tour they like to play that tour a lot.  I found out about this band like a couple of years ago I like to jam out when I’m in a bad mood they put me in a better mood. I have all of their cd’s I’m wearing one of their many T-shirts it’s a good way to promote a band. I really want to meet them I hope that in the future I get to meet them. That would make my whole entire year.

                                I saw them last year at Bogarts the crowd was wild they had fog machines going he came out fierce what’s good about them is. They change their sound and stage presence which is a good thing because they don’t do the same thing. I wouldn’t want to go see the same thing every time and tickets cost about 30 bucks to see the same old same old thing. The lead singer has some tattoos but I don’t know how many he has but they look really cool I wish I could get some ink work like he has. He doesn’t have any hair and he still head bangs like every crazy fans in the crowd I wish he would stage dive. I don’t think that will ever happen but it would be funny.

The Beatles

The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960 Great band they were an inspiration to the world everyone in this room doesn’t matter what music they like knows at least about the Beatles. Songs you may know Oh Darling, Help, and Lucy in the sky with Diamonds. The group's best-known lineup consisted of John Lennon rhythm guitar, vocals, Paul McCartney bass guitar, vocals, George Harrison lead guitar, vocals and Ringgo   Starr drums, vocals I’m not a Beatles Fanatic but their music helps me calm down and you can feel the music. Their songs also have a meaning unlike a lot of music that is playing today. Paul McCartney also was a part of the band. Lennon was shot and killed on 8 December 1980, in New York City.

Oh Darlin                                                  After his death Harrison wrote a song for Lennon when he died everyone was beside their self because an inspiration vocalist that’s when the Beatles kind of went downhill from there. That’s my personal opinion but what does it matter. Everyone has their own personal opinion there is a lot of controversy about Lennon and McCartney who was a better singer. There both really good but I never understood why people argue about those kinds of things I will never understand but it’s ok. When McCartney he started Wings with band on the run as one of their songs that song is also amazing. Oh which reminds me imagine all the people is a really amazing song as well.

Impending Doom

Impending Doom Is a metalcore band from California, Riverside actually it means you have a fear of something bad happening I just found that out 5 minutes ago. I’m going to see this band featured on the Vans Warped tour July 31^st can’t wait it’s going to be great. CHELSEA MEYERS WILL BE THERE Ha I think about every show in Cincinnati we see each other ask her it’s pretty funny. I think about halfway through we don’t see each other anymore but that’s because certain bands play at different times. When you go to a festival like that you’re not going to be able to see every band

                                                 I have never seen them yet but their new cd came out last week called baptized in blood I got it and have been nonstop listening to it. I don’t know what their religion but that doesn’t matter religion has A lot of people I know don’t listen to certain types of music because of the band’s religion that’s a bunch of crap. A lot of these metal, metal core, Death core, Scremo and Grind core can be very religious. That’s why it doesn’t matter I don’t waste time worrying about the little things that other people worry about.  I know a lot people bash the metal community that’s ok because it’s not going to make me hate it. Marianas Trench

Canadian pop punk band from Vancouver, British Columbia, formed in 2001 they have 3 albums out now. Fix me, Masterpiece Theatre, Ever after.  Alibis is off of their fix me cd it’s one of the best songs they have. I can’t wait to see them live I would recommend them to anyone my cousin introduced me to this band 2 years ago fell in love right when I heard the first part of the song. I don’t just like metal music I like a lot of stuff that you can understand I like to surprise people this band appeared in Kyle XY.

                                 Their cd called Ever after came out last year and it is epic Truth or Dare and Ever After is great love it. The band also has their own unique style they bring it to the table when they perform   Joshua Ramsay is the lead singer he writes his own music he had his own solo career at the age of 14. He came from a family that had careers in music his mom was a vocal coach. His father had his own recording studio when he had his solo career after school he needed to find a band so he got together with musicians from his school. Everyone has their own role in society Josh just found his. I love watching all of their music videos you can tell he is in his element he likes to put on a show which is really good.

Shinedown

Shinedown is an American rock band from Florida, formed in 2002 and founded by members Brent Smith. They have four albums and they are amazing. Brent smith recently just got over a drug addiction his voice is so unique I really want to see them bad. I keep looking for Shinedown dates they are kind of like seether their influences are usually southern rock or grunge. Bands that have that lead vocalist that has a rough alternative edge to it. Brent smith brings a lot of stuff to his songs he kind of has this really edgy voice then he has these high note parts and they sound really amazing probably even better live.

                                                  If they come any were near here I’m there even if it’s a school night I will stay up late and come to school the next day. I have done that many times it’s not that hard just go to bed around 1 wake up at 6. In the past two years I have done it 3 times the next concert I got is April 6^th of this year. Like I said if I have to I will sit on the internet and look for a shinedown date it will happen that’s how much I like them I own all cd’s the one I don’t have is their new one coming out march 27^th .  I had no clue until just now that’s why I like writing these blogs I am learning all this information the same time everyone else is.

Metal Shows safe or not.

Metal shows safe or not that is the question. Since I have been going to shows I have seen a lot of people pass out or be knocked out. Ask Chelsea the Attack Attack! Concert parents ask the same question is it safe to send my child to these shows. Yes it is some people do it their self they pass out but that’s because of lack of eating or drinking. Mosh pits are dangerous I have seen people literally try to kill each other if you stay out of the middle you most likely will stay out of it. The front or the back is safe to. But I have seen more people pass out because lack of food or energy.

                                      I saw Chelsea get knocked out by a guy who cracked her with a beer bottle I mean you take a risk going to a show. But for some people it’s a thrill like me I like to see chaos and destruction. There is also a lot of mayhem but it’s all for fun I see people in the mosh pit help each other up if they fall or try to help each other out. It’s like a respect type thing I see like 30 year olds a lot of people do it. People are saying that it’s because people build up so much rage. They need to release some stress bands like Suicide silence, Trivium, Korn, and Disturbed. Parents are blowing this way out of proportion really.Mosh pits

Cannibal Corpse Death On The Vine.

Cannibal Corpse just announced that they are touring here in Cincinnati they will be playing at the one and only Bogart’s. April 14^th of course it has to be on a Saturday the tour is called Death on Vine Street that day is going to be complete chaos. Cannibal corpse is heavy metal band they have a song called hammer smashed face when the get in the zone so do the people at their concert. They’re banned in a lot of countries and states because of their content they have really gory pictures and some of their song titles are not appropriate but no one cares I still like them.

         George Fisher in cannibal corpse  is a bad person that he worships the devil because of their song titles and album covers who cares just like the music for crying out loud if he does that’s his own personal choice that doesn’t mean everyone else has to be a follower. I have seen them live on the mayhem fest tour 2009 they played there but off they also played in a movie with Jim Carrey in ace Ventura. When I saw that movie I was like yes finally a celebrity appreciates metal for what it is I will always be a metal head so cannibal corpse will be a band that I listen to for a really long time they have been around for A while I have all of their cd’s  Cannibal Corpse Evisceration Plague
